GPAEA grant-funded paraeducator courses are currently FULL. Please check with these other providers that are offering the courses to see if they have availability:

Indian Hills Community College

Great Prairie AEA is excited to announce that the agency received the Teacher and Paraeducator Registered Apprenticeship (TPRA) Grant Program offered by the State of Iowa. This grant allows us to offer the Paraeducator Certification Courses to your staff for free! The summer session of these courses, which typically cost $427, will be no cost for participants for the courses or application fees. Participants will be responsible for their fingerprinting fee which ranges from $15-$25. The summer session will begin on July 18th and end on August 5th and paraeducators may attend virtually or in-person at the Ottumwa AEA. We recognize that this announcement has come on short notice, but we hope paraeducators are able to take advantage of this unique and stellar opportunity!
