This 20-hour virtual course is designed to equip participants with the skills necessary to substitute in Iowa's elementary and secondary classrooms. These skills include classroom management, strategies for learning, diversity, and ethics. 14.143(3) The substitute authorization certification must be renewed every five years.
Registration ends Jan 4th. Participants will complete 10 hours of online work in addition to the 10 hours of meeting with the instructor via Zoom. Meeting link will be provided by the instructor.
