Great Prairie AEA is thrilled to announce its recognition as one of Iowa's top workplaces by the Des Moines Register, a prestigious honor that highlights the dedication and hard work of its exceptional staff. This award places Great Prairie AEA among the top employers in the state for organizations of similar size.
This achievement is particularly significant because it stems from employee feedback. Last spring, staff participated in a survey administered by the Des Moines Register’s research partner, Energage, which measured employee satisfaction and organizational culture through 24 key questions.
“This recognition is for staff. Through all of the challenges that we have faced over the past year, we have come together as a team and taken steps towards our goal of being a top workplace in Southeast Iowa. As an agency we want to use this momentum to have a positive impact on all kids and demonstrate to our school communities the value we provide to their schools and students," said Chief Administrator Nathan Wood.
